Custom Jerseys, Labeda and more

posted by sean on Tuesday, March 20th, 2012 under news.

Hey folks,

Apologies for the lack of updates in the past while. Let me get you up to speed.

CTCHS Custom Sublimated Hockey Jerseys

I’ve been working on a set of custom sublimated inline hockey jerseys for a team in the VIHL I should have some shots up of them in the next few weeks.

Here’s a sample of the designs:

The jerseys are designed, cut, printed and sewn all locally in Vancouver. They should come out to about $75 a jersey for a team of 12 players.

Please email me if you are interested in ordering a set of jerseys for your team! Production will begin mid-late April and turnaround should be pretty quick, likely for the current season, depending on the length of the design period.

Labeda Clearance

All of the Labeda wheels have been moved to the Clearance section. I’ll be updating the actual stock remaining in the next few days. They are selling quickly and once they are gone, they are gone.

Retail Space

We are looking to partner with a local sports/athletic retailer in Vancouver. Coast to Coast Hockey Shop is a growing company with many local and national customers and we would love some space in your store. We won’t take up much space and can direct our hundreds of local customers through your shop.

If you own or manage a retail store in Vancouver and would like to have a chat,  give us a shout!

2011 End of Summer sale!

posted by sean on Monday, August 29th, 2011 under news.

Hey everyone, from now until September 30th, enjoy sale prices on many items in the shop. Specifically the Revision Axis Indoor and Outdoor wheels. These outdoor wheels are awesome! They are drawing comparisons to the Labeda Asphalts and the Hyper Pro 250s for how durable and long lasting they are – at a much lower price. Now is a great time to try them out at an even better price! Check them out in the shop for $6.39 per wheel! You won’t be disappointed.

Also noticeably marked down are the Revision Abec 7 bearings. They are a solid set of bearings that will perform well indoor or outdoor and won’t break the bank. From now until the end of September, only $28.99 for a full set.

If you are looking for something else in the shop to save on – use coupon code - summersale2011 – which will save 15% off everything else in the shop! Pass it on! Expires September 30th 2011.

Please email me if you have any questions or comments!

Bones Bearings added to stock

posted by sean on Sunday, April 24th, 2011 under news.

We’re excited to announce we’ve received our first order of Bones Bearings. Bones have maintained a huge following in the skateboard world for years and their name is beginning to catch on with the inline crowd.

What separates Bones from most other bearing manufacturers is their “Skate Rating” opposed to the Abec Rating. The Abec rating establishes dimensions, tolerances, geometry, and noise standards for factory and machine work, but offers no helpful criteria to follow for performance in recreational use like inline skating or skateboarding. Learn more about Skate Rated vs Abec rated here

I just tried my first set of Bones Super Reds for some outdoor roller hockey and they were awesome. Right out of the package I was impressed with how fast and smooth they were spinning. I’m used to bearings that have a bit of a break in period. Everyone who gave them a spin with the wheel was blown away. After a long 3-4 hour outdoor game on a very dusty, rough surface, they are still flying. I’ll be posting a review in the forum once I’ve been using them for awhile longer.

We’re currently stocking the Bones Reds, Super Reds and Bones Swiss. Performance at any price. Check them out in the Bearings section of our website.

Labeda Millenniums added

posted by sean on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011 under news.

Hi everyone,

We have just received the Labeda Gripper Millenniums for the 2011 season. They were brought in for the high performance players looking for another step up from the Labeda Grippers. I have heard rave reviews about these wheels from everyone who has used them. At first glance they look extremely well made – I never thought a wheel could have more grip than the Grippers but the Millenniums have it.

Labedas High durometer urethane core creates incredible rebound for maximum speed and the Low durometer urethane outer layer makes for the ultimate grip.

They come in two hardnesses, Soft for the players at or over 160lbs and X-Soft for the players under 160lbs or the high performance juniors.

If you are looking for more grip, rebound and speed – the Labeda Gripper Millennium is for you.
